Like many before me, I’ve discovered that Twitter doesn’t make data older than a week or two available for search. Learned this while testing Tweetdoc. When I searched on my name kstadden it only returned a dozen tweets. A friendly tech confirmed it’s Twitter’s limit. FAIL. Now I’ve stumbled on an excellent article entitled “Ten Ways to Archive Your Tweets.” Third parties to the rescue! Will try some and report back.

October 20th, 2009 by adminIf anyone is learning to tweet in a hurry, it’s PR professionals. I should know: I’m married to one. Suffice it to say she went from zero to tweety faster than you can say “hashtag” followed by “gesundheit!” And we’re not talking about someone who lives to find the next cool thing to do on her computer.
For the PR pros, then, is Twitter a no-brainer? Not all agree. Read more at CUPRAP and the Perfect Storm, Part One.
Is Three Tweets Enough?
October 13th, 2009 by adminCongratulations. You’re here at my first attempt to write a meaningful post that’s only 3 tweets–420 characters–long. I’ve decided to use this space to send you off to my other blog to read my take on Michael Schutzler’s unfavorable take on Twitter.
Is that cheating? Perhaps. I started out writing a post here and quickly ran afoul of my self-imposed limit. 420 characters, including spaces, is only about 75 words. Goodbye.
